Between the epic pool parties, clubs and casinos of Las Vegas there are also a number of good food spots. Located at the base of the Eiffel tower (the mini Vegas one,) Mon Ami Gabi transports you to a classic French bistro. We had Mother’s Day brunch there, enjoying the delicious food and pretending that we were in Paris, France.
The mimosas and bloody marys started flowing as soon as we sat down. As a party of fourteen it was amazing we were able to reserve a table only a few days in advance. The staff was very accommodating and our server was used to big groups. With so many options on the menu and daily specials it was hard to choose what to order.
As each dish came out we all ooed and aahhhed at the colorful creations. From plates topped with fruits to huge plates of seafood or corn beef hash, everyone ordered something different. I chose the special of the day – a poke salad. I’ll admit I surprised myself with this choice, usually for brunch I like a plate of waffles or pancakes drenched in maple syrup but after having eaten so much unhealthy food the day before I was craving something healthy and fresh.
Overall Mon Ami Gabi was a wonderful place to eat and from our table we could look up at the Eiffel tower. Whether you choose a sweet or savory dish, you will not be disappointed as you can see from my photos. Our group left the restaurant full and satisfied with our meal. Service was fast and the atmosphere energetic, you almost forget that you are sitting in a Parisian café in Las Vegas.
